I was born in 1971 with an overactive imagination and a penchant for coloring in the lines. By the time I was old enough to decide my future career there was no question that I was destined for a life of art. It's just something I do, something I HAVE to do, If I couldn't create I couldn't live. It's what drives me, it's my blood and bones.

Since graduating with a BFA from a forgettable Midwest university I've held a number of professional illustration jobs but as of yet haven't settled on anything permanent. I've done everything from graphic design to concept illustration but nothing comes close to creating my own visions. To me it's like drawing without a soul. I use my abilities to make images but really I'm just translating someone else's ideas.

Despite my reservations I've made quite a name for myself freelancing in the role-playing and collectable card game arenas. I've done work for many clients and publications including such industry giants as Wizards of the Coast, creators of the ever popular, Magic: The Gathering and TSR, publisher of the role-playing cornerstone, Dungeons and Dragons. I've also often speak of doing a stint writing and illustrating comics but to date the only work I've done thus far is a tiny little blip of work for indie favorite Funk-O-Tron.

Currently I'm working full time as a conceptual designer, modeler and illustrator for Snowblind Studios, and I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that if I've got to work, this is the place to do it.

While not at work I can be found hacking away at the myriad of projects I have banging around in my head, farting around with any number of non-art related hobbies, and most importantly spending quality time driving my wife crazy, my cats insane, and trying desperately to keep all my demons at bay.
